I haven't had much time lately for reading other weblogs, so I've had kind of a shortage of interesting links.

Went on another backpacking trip this weekend, near Lake Tahoe, but no bears this time! Supposedly the bears in this area are a lot dumber than the Yosemite bears, who are in turn dumber than the Yellowstone Bears. It's like Lake Tahoe Bears = GED, Yosemite Bears = bachelor's, and Yellowstone Bears have PhDs in Eating People Food. We did hang our food and trash in the trees, but the bears didn't come to our campsite. Dave did say he saw a 60-pound badger though.
