Last night I went to see an interview with Margaret Atwood (Michael Krasny from NPR was the interviewer). She's written one of my favorite books, Cat's Eye, which is a compelling look into a woman's life, mainly about her childhood and the influences her "friends" had on her. Last night Margaret Atwood said "Brownies ruined me". Girls can be cruel.

I just finished her latest novel, Oryx and Crake, an interesting and scarily possible look into the future if we are not careful with genetic research. If you've read the book, I recommend a visit to the website for the amusing popup ads. A phrase I never thought I would utter: amusing popup ads.
