On Friday we went to see my favorite band, Barenaked Ladies. I think this is the 6th time I've seen them in concert. I'm not a big concert-goer, but their shows are more like a night of entertainment than just playing songs. They're always improvising and riffing and doing silly things.

For this tour, they decided to play all of their songs ever recorded. Every single one, over the course of the whole tour. That means we got to hear a few I've never heard live, such as Blame it On Me and Be My Yoko Ono from Gordon, Life In a Nutshell from Maybe You Should Drive, and Same Thing from Born on a Pirate Ship. Plus they did an awesome acoustic version of One Week.

They also did a live Q&A session. One guy in the front row started his question with, "As the second best band in Canada.." Oh, please. Why are you in the front row? Anyway, the band immediately started playing random Rush songs, and mocking Rush, so it was all good.
