The weekend before last we drove to Vegas with a couple of friends. The main reason was to see the musical We Will Rock You, based on songs by Queen. We stayed at the Sahara (not so great) and watched Leslie Neilson be a pirate in Pirates 4D.

On the drive back we stopped at the border to ride the Desperado roller coaster at Buffalo Bill's. It was billed as the tallest, fastest, longest roller coaster--in 1996. Still pretty thrilling. That's me in the photo, about to take the 225 foot plunge.
