This week's Friday Five...

1. What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? On purpose? I did eat ants once on accident; they crawled into the syrup bottle and died and I didn't notice when I poured them on my waffles.

2. Name one (material) thing you can't live without. I can't think of anything. Lots of things I'd miss, but nothing I can't live without.

3. Name something you've always wanted to do but didn't have time for. Read every fiction book in the library.

4. What outrageous thing do you wish you had the nerve to do? Geeze, can't think of anything for this one either. Tell people off who cut in line at the airport?

5. How do you plan to spend your weekend? Finish up Christmas preparation stuff tomorrow; Sunday we go up to the folks for Christmas.

By the way, my Archives are fixed finally. When my ISP changed, my directory structure changed, and I didn't update my Blogger settings all the way through.

Okay, I'm going to jump on the trendy blogger bandwagon and do the Friday Five, even though it's Monday:

1. What did you want to be when you grew up? Well, when I was very young, Arthur Duncan from the Lawrence Welk Show. Then: a game maker (board games), a paleontologist, a librarian, and a computer programmer.

2. Do you have any nicknames? Not really, unless you count my POPnet handle, Ford Prefect. I was briefly called "Pearlman" by Raffa in high school.

3. If you could change something about yourself what would it be? I'd have a digestive system of steel.

4. Have you ever bought anything from an infomercial? Nope.

5. How do you plan to spend your weekend? Well, I'm cheating on this one since it's Monday. Friday night we saw Ocean's 11; Saturday was all about Christmas shopping and watching Chris make mince pies (do you know what mincemeat is? me neither) and Sunday we went to a friend's holiday party up in the hills, where said mince pies were consumed, though not by me.
