2007 Movies

I went through the list of movies released in theaters in 2007 and counted the number I'd seen: 19. Pretty measly, especially considering 5 of them were on the plane to and from the UK. We saw 10 movies in the theater, 4 on DVD, plus the 5 I saw on the plane.

My top five, in no particular order:

Die Hard 4: Live Free or Die Hard
The Namesake
Hot Fuzz
Waitress
Dan In Real Life

I wanted to include Blade Runner: The Final Cut (which DID come to the theater around here, woo hoo!) but decided it doesn't really count.

My pick for the worst film: The Astronaut Farmer (seen on the plane). Wow was that bad. Yet another story about a man with a dream who will put his life and family's future at risk becaue he just feels like it. Dude, get over it. You didn't make it into the space program.. life's tough. Get a job.

No doubt we'll be watching a lot of other 2007 films on DVD. Any top recommendations?
