I just got back from the eye doctor, so my eyes are dilated and everything seems slightly fuzzy.

When I was reading the eye chart the assistant asked me to put on my glasses. I was having some trouble reading the letters, and I finally said, "you know, these are my reading glasses, I don't use them for distance.." and she was like "oops". It was a little better after I took them off.

My vision in my right eye is slightly worse. My astigmastism has shifted. My cataracts haven't changed. (I've probably had them since birth--tiny spots that don't seem to interfere with anything. One doctor theorized they may have something to do with my poor 3D vision, but who knows.)

I hate having the gluacoma test, where they blow a puff of air into your open eye. Ugh. The first time that happened to me was a few years ago, and they didn't even warn me first. Grr.
I'm not getting new glasses until next June, though, when my insurance will cover it. I'm just glad I still don't need to wear them all the time. I'm not looking forward to that.
