The kitties have arrived! Over the weekend we adopted two cats, 1-year-old brothers named Q*Bert and Max.

For those of you not familiar with Q*Bert, it was a video game from 1983. It featured a small orange creature that jumped from cube to cube in a 3D pyramid.

The two cats are black, but Q*Bert is short haired, and Max is medium haired. Q*Bert actually looks a lot like our old family cat, Moose.

They spent most of the weekend either hiding behind the toilet or under the futon, but they did venture out a few times to explore and be petted. Q*Bert is definitely the more adventerous of the two. I'm sure they will both be running all over the house in no time.
