Today's topic: Places Cathy has lived:

- Born in Walnut Creek, lived in my parents's house until I left for college in September of 1990. They still live in the same house.

- Lived in the dorm at UCSD (Tenaya in Muir college for those in the know) for 1 year. Moved back home in the sumer.

- Lived in the on-campus Muir apartments for 1 year, moved back home in the summer.

- Rented a house with 3 friends off-campus in San Diego for 1 year; lived there for the summer as well. First summer away from home!

- Rented the house across the street (long story) with various friends for 2 years (my senior year at UCSD and 1 year working)

- Lived in the dorm on campus at Indiana University during my first year of my Master's program. Now that was weird, being in a dorm again.

- Subletted an apartment in town for the summer from a friend.

- Moved into my own place (first time ever) off-campus, a small 1-bedroom apartment that I really loved. Lived there about a year.

- Moved into a 2-bedroom apartment in Palo Alto in August of 1997; lived there until February.

- Moved into a 1-bedroom in Mountain View, where I spent the next four years.

- Moved into a townhouse with Chris after we got engaged, near Stanford.

- Moved into our current house, in Belmont.

Wow.. that's a lot more than I thought (12 places). The longest place, besides my parents's house, was my apartment in Mountain View (4 years) and the shortest was the sublet in Bloomington (3 months).
